Bio

Sara is a writer, editor, and communications consultant who lives and works in Jakarta. She began her career as a copywriter for a multinational advertising agency, McCann Worldgroup Indonesia, for a short period of time. She then joined Esquire Indonesia and had enjoyed working as a journalist for a good 18 months before finally stepped into a digital industry by accepting the offer to be part of the “alpha team” a.k.a Content team at Wego Indonesia, one of the travel meta-search pioneers in Indonesia. Although most of her writings often refer to pop and mass culture, she also enjoys writing about art and culture as well as social criticism, hence, her involvement in ruangrupa (a non-profit art organization based in Jakarta) and a number of freelance projects for both business enterprise and NGOs.

She’s back full-time and fully recharged in mid-2017 as a Chief Content Officer for All Things Hair Indonesia after putting her career on hold for a year to be a SAHM for her newborn.
